We launched CO in May last year and have had a phenomenal response. We now count over 16,000 members including representatives from more than 50 of the world’s best known fashion brands, inspirational entrepreneurs, and sustainability leaders - many of whom attended the event.
Tamsin Lejeune, our CEO spoke of how privileged she was to have the opportunity to work with the network of partners and investors including Roland Mouret, who was an early backer of CO. She also spoke of the urgency that fashion professionals feel in wanting to do things differently and how CO can help with navigating sustainability alongside commercial goals and targets.
Harold Tillman, Chair of the Ethical Fashion Group which runs Common Objective, also spoke of the urgency of the situation and highlighted the need to address poor working conditions while Mark Langthorne, CEO of Roland Mouret warned of the need to be vigilant of greenwashing.
We had fun and hope you did too. We look forward to working with you all moving forward to bring about lasting change. Thank you all for making it a great night. - The CO Team.
